As of Wednesday, May 13, flights from airports including Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) and Westchester County Airport (HPN) will fly to the nearest Delta-Served Airport.
So while Chicago Midway may be closed, travelers can still fly from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). This is also the case with Westchester County Airport; travelers will be able to fly using John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
“The safety of our employees and customers remains our primary focus as we navigate these challenges together,” said Sandy Gordon, Senior Vice President- Domestic Airport Operations. “By consolidating operations while customer traffic is low, we can allow more of our people to stay home in accordance with local health guidelines.
These stations will remain closed temporarily until September 2020.
